JAMMU: Thirty-eight individuals died and 17 have been injured after a passenger bus on its technique to Jammu veered off the street and rolled 250 metres down the hill in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
A police officer on the Doda management room stated the passenger bus was on its method from Kishtwar to Jammu, a distance of 200km that might ordinarily have been coated in 5 hours.
The bus veered off the street and fell 250 meters close to Trungal in Doda district’s Assar space. “A minimum of 38 passengers have died up to now,” stated Doda senior superintendent of police Abdul Qayoom, who’s supervising the rescue operations.

Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha condoled the deaths, saying he was “extraordinarily pained by the lack of lives within the bus accident. “My heartfelt condolences to bereaved households & wishing for a speedy restoration of these injured within the accident.
