Cop killed, 5 injured after Nihang Sikh opens fireplace at gurdwara in Punjab’s Kapurthala


A police constable was killed and 5 policemen sustained accidents after a Nihang Sikh opened fireplace late final night time at a gurdwara in Punjab’s Kapurthala.

A conflict erupted between Nihang Singhs and Police officers at a Gurudwara Akal Bunga in Kapurthala.

The incident befell when the police reportedly arrived on the gurdwara to clear the premises amid an ongoing dispute between two Nihang teams over the rightful possession of the non secular web site.
