The Congress had approached the ballot panel complaining that in accordance with an election commercial printed by the BJP in newspapers throughout Madhya Pradesh, Chouhan will communicate with “brothers and sisters” of the state at 5.30 pm on Wednesday.

As per Part 126(1)(b) of the act, no individual shall show to the general public any election matter by the use of cinematograph, tv or different related equipment in any polling space in the course of the interval of 48 hours ending with the hour mounted for conclusion of ballot for any election in that polling space.

All 230 meeting seats of Madhya Pradesh will go for elections on November 17.
